How long does Invisalign actually take for most patients? I have mildly crooked front teeth I’d like to correct…and I’m considering Invisalign to accomplish.
Thanks,
Laura
Laura,
I depends on the amount of orthodontic correction needed. In most cases 10 to 12 months is the average lenght of treatment, but minor cases can last less than 10 and some complicated cases have lasted longer than a year. At the consult the dentist should give the patient an idea of the lenght of time the treatment may take; however there are factors that may lenghten the treatment that have to be considered as well. Invisalign require patient cooperation. Historically, the more compliant patients will finish their treatment sooner.
